About JB Craftsman

Each of our projects started as a frustration. Whether it's a messy workflow or an off-the-shelf tool that only gets the job done halfway, we've always been driven by one question: How can we make this better? I don't believe in "one size fits all" solutions that only get the job done halfway. I believe in maximizing potential and focus on a core principle. I craft clean, purpose-built solutions.

Our journey into intentional design began with a simple need. A modular sign for the food table at events. Along the process of turning into a business, we kept running into generic tools that required monthly subscriptions for basic features.

At each roadblock that prevented us from bringing our vision to life, we would step back and ask a question. "Can we build something better?" As it turns out, the answer is usual yes.

While the heavy lifting and finishing touches happen in our workshop, the "soul" of the design happens at John's dining room table. While listening to a good playlist and petting his adorable dog, projects are born and evolve.

We build each web project & app new from the ground up. We don't use generic templates. Each project starts with a conversation so we always build exactly what is needed.

We utilize 3D printing for our physical products for one specific reason. It allows us to tailor a design to fit an exact need with a high level of intentionality. From that first layer to the final hand-finished product, the goal is always the same: To craft something that makes day-to-day life run a little smoother.
